This past weekend, Tailrace Marina hosted a memorable Kayak Eco Tour in collaboration with Carolina Thread Trail and the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. Participants embarked on a scenic 3-4 mile paddle across the Catawba River and explored the vibrant ecosystems along Saddlers Island and Long Creek. The event not only highlighted the beauty of our local waterways but also emphasized the importance of conservation efforts in the Catawba-Wateree River Basin.
